Simple Swanky Black &White Office

I’m always on a quest for design inspiration and recently I’ve fallen in love with the interior design work of Rachel Blindauer out of California.  So, for today’s inspiring office environments treat I bring to you one of the most simple, yet stunning residential offices I’ve come across.

“Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.”  – Coco Chanel

What I love about it…

  • Bold black and white rug.  Ikea makes an identical rug for a steal here.
  • Fresh roses
  • Crisp white desk

Ralph Lauren’s Chic Office in New York City

TGIF my friends!  This post has no other purpose other than to introduce a new segment I’ll be blogging about featuring inspiring office environments and to make you drool.  Seriously.  So, cap off that happy hour adult beverage, close your eyes, think of Ralph Lauren and imagine what you envision his offices look like… I bet you’d come up with this.  So masculine and preppy all together.

What I love about it…

  • Holy coffee table books
  • That Giant artwork behind the desk anchors the space
  • Not to mention, that desk is huge.
  • Flowers are for boys too.

Architectural Digest recently featured the space and here’s what they had to say about it.   “Lauren’s office at the company’s Madison Avenue headquarters is filled with art, books, and sundry objects that inspire him, including a 1950s model plane suspended from the ceiling. A large graphite drawing by Woodrow Blagg is displayed behind the designer’s Highbridge glass-top desk, which is byRalph Lauren Home. The City Modern cocktail table and leather-clad RL-CF1 Carbon Fiber lounge chairs are Ralph Lauren Home designs as well.”

Is your office inspiring?  Send me photos and I’m happy to feature!
